Vintage Star Wars 1982 Boba Fett Moc 47-c Back Graded Cas 60 (c60 B70 F80) Clear
This beautiful rarity comes from my personal collection. This particular Boba Fett card back version is the 48-C back with "Revenge of the Jedi" Admiral Ackbar figure offer. This was the very last card back released on Empire Strikes Back card before moving to the Return if the Jedi 48-A Card Backs, making it extremely rare. This version has the "Admiral Ackbar" offer printed on the front and the back of the card unlike the 48-B versions which simply placed a sticker on the back bottom portion of the card. I submitted the figure to CAS for grading and the grade/subgrades are as follows: CAS 60+ (63.3) C-60, B-70, F-80.
The bubble is crystal clear and was graded without receiving the "Y" designation ensuring that the bubble is in fact clear. It is free of cracks and major denting and is sealed on 3 sides but has a slight lift along the top. This appears to be due to the factory sealing of the bubble, and most likely prevented it from having an even higher grade.
The card surface is really clean with sharp and bright colors and has a Admiral Ackbar "Revenge" figure offer. There is some creasing in a few spots and typical shelf/storage wear. Also on back at the punch tab location there is a small litho tear.
It laid perfectly flat before encasing. The figure appears to be in excellent condition receiving an 80 grade. His blaster is firmly tapped in place and the tape has no yellowing. Country of origin is Hong Kong.Overall makes for a beautiful display piece of an extremely hard figure to find in this condition.
